Caribou Coffee celebrates summer with new cold drinks, delicious food and colorful merch

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – APRIL 29, 2025 – Summer is kicking off at Caribou Coffee® with the launch of a new menu featuring refreshing beverages and crave-worthy food perfect for warmer days. Beginning Thursday, May 1, guests can enjoy exciting new Energy drinks, creamy Frozen Fruit & Cream beverages, a zesty Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit and a sweet assortment of Milk Bar® cookies. This month marks one year since Caribou introduced its lineup of handcrafted Energy drinks and to celebrate, the brand is rolling out three flavors inspired by the nostalgic tastes and carefree moments of summer.

The full summer food and beverage menu available at participating coffeehouses nationwide while supplies last includes:

Limited-time offerings:

  • Rainbow Sherbet Energy*: Sparkling energy drink, available in original or lemonade, with flavors of rainbow sherbet; topped with coconutmilk cold foam.
  • Cotton Candy Energy*: Sparkling energy drink, available in original or lemonade, with flavors of cotton candy; topped with coconutmilk cold foam.
  • Ice Pop Energy*: Sparkling energy drink, available in original or lemonade, with flavors of cherry, lime and blue raspberry; topped with coconutmilk cold foam.
  • Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit: Breaded chicken, Nashville Hot spread and pickles on a biscuit.

*Energy drinks contain caffeine.

New permanent items:

  • Frozen Strawberries & Cream: Vanilla, strawberry juice mix and half & half blended with ice and Caribou’s signature shake mix.
  • Frozen Peaches & Cream: Vanilla, peach juice mix and half & half blended with ice and Caribou’s signature shake mix.
  • Frozen Berries & Cream: Vanilla, berry juice mix and half & half blended with ice and Caribou’s signature shake mix.
  • Milk Bar Confetti Cookie: All those familiar box-mix birthday cake flavors — dreamy vanilla, rich butter, rainbow sprinkles — combine in fluffy, chewy sugar cookie heaven.
  • Milk Bar Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookies: Milk Bar’s crunchy, chewy riff on the classic chocolate chip cookie, packed full of caramelized cornflakes and gooey marshmallows in a deep vanilla base.
  • Milk Bar Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Super Crunchy Cookies: Deep, caramelized, buttery flavor packed with crunch from crispy rice cereal.

With summer also comes a brand-new lineup of seasonal drinkware to keep your favorite beverages fresh, featuring bright pink, purple and yellow hues. The latest collection includes ombre glassware cups, colorblock tumblers, checkered cups and more.

Also new is the Burundi Yandaro packaged coffee. This light roast Single Origin coffee, sourced from the Yandaro washing station in the Kayanza province of Burundi, features soft tangerine and red apple acidity, a smooth body, and a light, herbaceous sweetness.

Both the packaged coffee and a selection of drinkware are available for a limited time at participating locations and at cariboucoffee.com, while supplies last.

Guests looking to make the most of summer at Caribou are encouraged to join Caribou Perks. Joining the Caribou Perks loyalty reward program is free and easy by visiting cariboucoffee.com/caribou-perks or texting “Perks” to 762-CARIBOU. Members have various options to order and pick up their favorites from the summer menu, including ordering and paying ahead through the Caribou Coffee app to earn points for in-store, drive-thru, curbside pickup, or delivery. From there, members can build their points balance and redeem great rewards like free bakery items, handcrafted beverages, size upgrades and even growlers and coffee beans. The mobile app also allows guests to save their favorite customizable drinks and frequently visited stores, share rewards with friends, and redeem points or rewards online and in the coffeehouse.
