A “check-in” is when a Caribou Perks member identifies themselves by showing the store team member the barcode on the Caribou Coffee app, ordering ahead in the Caribou Coffee app, or when a member provides their phone number at the register prior to purchase. It is also considered a “Check-in” when a member successfully checks out on Cariboucoffee.com while signed into their Caribou Perks account.
If you are attempting to log into your Caribou Perks account and can’t remember your password you can reset your password from the login screen. The Caribou Coffee app will email you to reset your password for security purposes. If you are already logged into the app, you can change or update your password from the “View & Edit My Account” section of My Account. If you are still having trouble, please reach out to the Customer Service team.
Select “View & Edit My Account” to view your transaction history in the Caribou Coffee app or within My Account, update your rewards card, change your personal information or update your Credit/Debit Card.
If you are trying to create a new Caribou Perks account, but are receiving an error message, please reach out to our Customer Service team at 1.888.227.4268 from the phone number you want tied to your Caribou Perks account.
Caribou Perks® points
Caribou Perks members will earn 2 points for every $1 spent on purchases at participating U.S. Caribou Coffee locations when they “check-in” or when they make an eligible purchase from CaribouCoffee.com while they are signed into their Caribou Perks account. This does not include the purchase of gift cards or eGift cards or purchases made with a gift card or eGift card.
If you don’t have any activity or a “Check-in” in your Caribou Perks account for six months, the points in your account (no matter when they were earned) will expire and will no longer be available for redemption.
“Activity” is defined as a check-in/visit or a reward redemption in a Caribou Coffee store in the U.S. or cariboucoffee.com
You will be able to see your points balance on the Caribou Coffee® app, within “My Account” on CaribouCoffee.com, or if you are opted into emails and push notifications. In addition, your Caribou Coffee team member who checks you in at the store will also be able to see your point balance.
The points you redeemed the reward for will be deducted from your account balance. However, the reward will still be in your account and can be used up to 14 days (about 2 weeks) after you redeemed your points for the reward.
Caribou Perks® Rewards
Caribou Perks member can earn Rewards by redeeming their Points. Rewards can be redeemed at 25 Points, 50 Points, 100 Points, 150 Points, 200 Points, 300 Points, or 400 Points. The more you check in, the more you buy, the more points you’ll earn and rewards you can use. It’s that easy. View all available Rewards here.
Usually, you will have 14 days to redeem, but keep in mind that the expiration date of the reward can vary based on the promotion. In order to see the exact date, make sure you have the Caribou Coffee App or have opted into email notifications, so you know how long you have to redeem.
Yes, Caribou Perks members will receive a free beverage, any size that is valid for up to 7 days. The perfect way to celebrate your Birthday week.
If you do not have any activity or “check-ins” during the six-month period, your account is not considered active, and you will not receive a free birthday drink.
A Size Upgrade can be redeemed for 25 Points. With this reward you can buy the size you like and then pay for the size below. For example, when you redeem your Size Upgrade Reward, you could purchase a large beverage and pay for the price of a medium beverage.
Unfortunately, the 2 lbs of signature beans for $22 can only be redeemed at participating U.S. Caribou Coffee locations.
Unfortunately, the reward for a free bag of beans or K-Cup® Pods can only be redeemed at participating U.S. Caribou Coffee locations.
Gift Cards and eGift Cards
To combine gift cards or update your Perks card please log in and visit the “My Perks Card” page with “My Account” on cariboucoffee.com.

You can transfer gift card balances to your Caribou Coffee app and use your app to pay in-store. To transfer a gift card to your mobile wallet, click “More” within the bottom navigation. From there, select “Payment Options” and select “Caribou Card.” Once you’re on this page, click “Transfer Gift Card Value” and you will be able to enter the gift card number from the back of your gift card and pin, if applicable. Once you enter the number (hint: don’t include the spaces), you can complete the transfer. The balance will be available on your mobile app and the physical or digital gift card will no longer carry a balance.
Select send eGift Card from the menu screen and we will walk you through the process!
No, the recipient would simply receive an email or text message (SMS) with a link to their eGift Card. If they have the app, they can add the money from the eGift Card into their account in the manage card section of the app.

If you lost your physical gift card, please reach out to our Customer Service team at 1.888.227.4268 with either the purchase details or information about the last time the gift card was used.

Caribou Coffee® App
The Caribou Coffee app can be used to Order Ahead, check in at the store to earn points, pay with your mobile device, check your transaction history, transfer gift card balances, and redeem your points for rewards. You can also customize and favorite your order as well as favorite your store.
If you have tried to load funds from your credit/debit card onto the mobile app, but are not seeing your balance change, please check that you have the correct billing information in the app. Funds cannot be added if we do not have accurate billing information. Pending charges may take up to 30 days to reverse. For further questions, please contact Customer Service online, via firstname.lastname@example.org, by calling 1.888.227.4268 or via chat.
If you are attempting to log into the mobile app/your Caribou Perks account and can’t remember your password, you can reset your password from the login screen. An email will be sent asking you to reset your password for security purposes. If you are already logged into the app, you can change or update your password from the ‘Update Profile’ section found by navigating to the ‘More’ tab.
If you are attempting to view the menu, but your store is closed, please view our menu online. Please note, that product inventory is determined at the store level. View our menu.
Navigate to the ‘More’ tab and then select:
- ‘Update Profile’ to update your personal information.
- ‘Add Funds’ to add funds to your Caribou card.
- ‘Payment Options’ to manage your Caribou card and stored credit card.
- ‘Delete Account’ to submit a request for your Caribou Perks account to be deleted.
You can easily use your app to check-in and pay in-store. Once you are signed into the app, on the ‘Home’ screen a bar will appear at the top of the screen; pull down and a bar code with your Caribou Card or account balance will appear.
You can apply rewards to your order by going to ‘Rewards’ and selecting a reward and ‘Add to Order.’ If you have a cart already, the ‘Order Details’ will also suggest rewards to use before you check out.
You can easily save your favorite Caribou Coffee store. Go to ‘Locations’ and search for your favorite location in the nearby section. Once the location appears, select the heart on the right of the location; you will see this fills the heart. You will see this location appear on the favorites section. Once you have a location favorited, you will be able to personalize the location name by selecting the pencil and changing the name.
You can easily save your favorite Caribou Coffee item. Go to ‘Order’ and build your favorite item with your specific customizations and ‘Add to Order.’ Once you are in order details, you can select the heart to the left of your favorite item and the next time you go to ‘Order’ your favorites will appear first.
No, you can use multiple different ways to pay. You can still use your Caribou card to pay, but also can pay with your stored credit card, add a new credit card or you can use apple pay.
No, you do not need to be logged in to order, however, you do not earn points towards a reward or experience all features of the Caribou Coffee app.
