Pup Cups: A little whipped cream, a lot of joy 

We know a visit to Caribou Coffee isn’t just about grabbing your favorite drink – it’s about the experience and the chance to share joy with your crew, paws and all. Whether you’re rolling through the drive-thru or relaxing on one of our pet-friendly patios, we love seeing your furry (or feathered or scaled!) friends join the fun. To make their visit just as special, we offer complimentary Pup Cups – a dollop of whipped cream in a small cup – as a treat for your pet. All you need to do is order it in the Caribou Coffee app or ask for it at the register.   

We’ve given thousands of Pup Cups to guests’ beloved pets through the years, but we never get tired of seeing a wagging tail and friendly face pull up to the window and lean towards an outstretched Pup Cup. General Manager Theresa F. fondly remembers the first ever Pup Cup made at her store: “Rizzo the Great Dane was our store’s first ever Pup Cup on an early Saturday morning! We love our doggo customers, and who doesn’t love a Pup Cup?” 

While only service animals are allowed inside our coffeehouses, many of our locations feature pet-friendly patios that are perfect for sipping your favorite drink while your pet enjoys their treat by your side. And even if you’re outside, chances are our team members will probably be admiring your adorable companion from inside the store. 

Not only for the pups

The Pup Cup excitement doesn’t stop at dogs or even cats. We’ve seen many types of pets roll through our drive-thrus and enjoy the delicious treat of whipped cream, free of charge. Some pet visitors have had scales, others have had feathers, but all have loved their Pup Cups (or should we say Turtle Cup, Ferret Cup, or Goat Cup?).
