Celebrating our top performers, the Best of the ‘Bou
All Caribou Coffee stores are led by General Managers (GMs) who know the ins and outs of our brand and what it takes to keep their store in shape to create day-making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good. Each year, we take time to gather and celebrate the top performing store leaders during one of our favorite events of the year: Best of the ‘Bou. This event recognizes the top store managers across the U.S. who had outstanding achievements and results in team, guest and quality in the previous year, and for some, this is not their first year receiving the Best of the ‘Bou title.
The Best of the ‘Bou winners are celebrated with a day of fun (including many chances to re-caffeinate) followed by an evening ceremony. “This year was at Walker Art Center where we had an amazing award ceremony that had videos from every store talking about why they love their GM so much and why they deserve to be Best of the ‘Bou winners this year,” said VP of U.S Retail, Jennifer Brunick. “And we feel like this is just one way to continue to say thank you.”
How did they accomplish it?

“I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without the team that I have behind me. I have a wonderful AGM [Assistant General Manager] and together we have created a core valued environment… And that in itself is something worth noting!” – Raina F., General Manager
“I’m thrilled to have made it to the Best of the ‘Bou list! I focused on running a tight labor operation to maximize cash flow, and the collaboration and competition with fellow DMs [District Managers] made this year both successful and enjoyable.” – Kevin R., District Manager

“Making fun happen with the guests, treating them as family and spending time talking to them while waiting for their orders.” – Miguel N., General Manager
“Creating a community with my team and my customers has been key. I strive for my store to be a safe space for all while offering consistency, exploration in new offerings, and a pleasant experience. My team has fostered this concept and taken it leaps and bounds further. We are definitely a ‘Serve with Love’ store.” – Ashley N., General Manager
This year’s Best of the ‘Bou event was another reminder that the dedication and passion of the team creating our handcrafted beverages is a crucial part of what makes them so great.
