I originally chose Costa Rica because, in general I like light roast coffees. Now its definitely my favorite because its just so yummy in my tummy.

I think the coffees from Costa Rica are the best. This coffee has a bold flavor, but is very smooth. I could drink it all day long!! It is only exceeded by the peaberry from Costa Rica!!

I think that it is a great coffee with nutty undertones and a sweet creaminess that makes for a nice heavy body.

I love this coffee because it isn't too strong, and for a beginner coffee drinker like me who likes it more sweet than anything it is my favorite and that hint of chocolate they say it has really makes it so much better than anything I have tried so far.

Absolutely the best! My husband and I have tried many kinds and none compare to this one. We were so disappointed when it was changed to a seasonal coffee. So, after suffering serious withdrawal syptoms and trying many lesser coffees in an unsuccessful search of a replacement, we are very excited to see it available again!!!

The Sombro del Poro was an experiment for Darling Hubby and me. We regularly grind and love the darker roasts -- Mahogany, LaCuna, Espresso, French Roast. We also rely on the Columbian medium roast, and fell in love with the Minita Peaberry, so this was the next step. Verdict: YUMMY! On my first cup, I made the mistake of putting a touch of raw sugar and cream in it -- never again. This is a superior cup of coffee.

I generally prefer darker roasts, but Costa Rica Sombra Del Poro rocks! The "fruity" tones are subtle and balanced. Drunk black (I normally don't spoil coffee with milk, cream or sugar),this roast makes for a truly delicious cup of coffee. A great mid-afternoon pick-me-up or Sunday brunch companion.

I love most all of the medium roast at Caribou. What I like the best about Caribou's coffees are they all have a definitive 'flavor' to them. The Caribou blend is my favorite, Fireplace blend a close second. Starbuck's coffees all taste burnt, not sure how anyone can drink them.

This coffee is THE BEST coffee that Caribou has to offer (other than LaMinita Peaberry). The smooth, creamy taste doesn't need cream and its medium roast makes it easy for both light and dark drinkers! It is PERFECT.
