While I enjoyed this brew, I didn't feel that it delivered the intensity or powerful beginning it advertises. This roast is both clean and crisp and not without a favorable flavor to be sure. I guess in the end, this "big-bodied light roast" just didn't have enough body for this dark roast fanatic.
The latest offering just sparkles with blackberry intensity. This is a big coffee with alot to offer the sophisticated palate.
Even though this is a very light roast, Kenya is very flavorful, my whole family loves it!
Best coffee on the Caribou menu. Incredibly smooth and tasty!
It tastes great from a French Press but is too light for me when it's dripped.
Kenya is simply the best coffee - its like having desert!
Outstanding !! Best of the best !!
This is their best. Rich, blackberry sweet, with a dark cocoa finish. This is true coffee love at its best any time of day. Don't ruin it by dripping; a press pot is the only way to get the intensely savory goodness of this great coffee -- or any coffee, for that matter.
THis is the BEST coffee. It's so smooth and balanced. LOVE IT!
Caribou Kenya coffee became an immediate personal favorite for its smooth, highly enjoyable flavor!
Caribou Coffee's KENYA is by far my favorite whole bean, single origin coffee.
I love the bright acidity and complexity in each and every sip.
I like light roasts, and this has terrific flavor-no bitterness, with rich chocolate tones. Delicious.
Kenyan coffee has a bold authentic taste. Love it!!
Living in Mulberry, FL is going to change. I think I need to move closer to the Atlanta area so I can be closer to Caribou. While visiting Atlanta, I was drawn to the Caribou kiosk in the store by the aroma. I thought no coffee could compare to the coffee I love so much (we will call it DD for short). One sip of Kenya and I felt as though Heaven's gate opened wide and welcomed me. I am hooked! Looking forward to trying more.
Amazing!!! If I could go swimming in coffee, this would be it.
Well, I'm back ome again. I visited Peachtree Center again and the same sweet young lady was there that suggested the Kenya to me. This time I got her name. Kristie Tillet at the peachtree Center store was so helpful in selections of my coffee to bring home. As ell as the Kenys, she also suggested Acacia. SHE SURE HAS GOOD TASTE! I told her that I would be back in town for more in about 2 months.
amazing coffee great taste, light flavorfuljust wonderful coffee.
This coffee is the best. I have been searching for a coffe to replace Dean & Deluca's breakfast blend (since they changed their coffee supplier-it isn't as good as it used to be) and this is it! Love it!
The color put me off a bit, I was expecting a weak flavor due to how light it was, but this coffee has an intense flavor, very complex. Well worth the price!
This is an outstanding light roast coffee. It presents a very smooth and clean cup. If you usually prefer dark roasts, this coffee might change your preferences! And don't you dare put cream and sugar in this one--you don't need it!
this is the tastiest and strongest of caribou's coffee. the lighter the roast in general the better the flavor(more original) and the more caffeine. it's expensive but worth it. like the columbian too.
My fav! I Love Kenya for it's delicate body and rich flavor with a marvelous aftertaste that no other bean has. Fresh bread!
This is by far the best coffee I get. The price is kind of steep, but the combination of the right beans with the lightest roasting makes this perfect.
I like a lite but bright roast. It's easy to get a very bland lite roast but much more difficult to get a lite, very crisp and flavorful coffee. Kenya is one of my favorites with just enough acidity to give it a little kick.
one of THE BEST coffees around besides Peaberry!!
Kenya is my favorite - smooth and very flavorful!
This is the best coffee ever! Love the coffee, love your company and its philosophy!
Outstanding balance. The best Columbia I have ever had. Like it with cream, but it is smooth enough to drink without.
Kenya is my favorite varietal of coffee. But I can say without a doubt that Caribou Coffee's version is AWFUL. It tastes barely better that Folgers regular. I feel cheated. Next time I will go with a brand I can trust.
In my opinion, this is the absolute best!
This is the most awesome coffee. One french press each day does life up right! Rock on!
Clean, never bitter
One of my favorites!
My favorite that Caribou has to offer. I am a home roaster and have a very educated palate. When I'm out of green coffee this is my go to choice.
LOVE IT. Bold and ever so tasty to the last drop!
Perfect! I tried it for the first time a week ago and was pleasantly suprised. The hint of blackberry finish was divine! This blend does not require tons of sweetner or cream- very platable.
Love it...my favorite of all coffee's
I only brew in a French Press which pulls out more of the flavor profile in any coffee. Kenya is one of my favorites. When fresh (all coffee deteriorates quickly after roasting), it has a bright beginning, kind of critus-like, and a round finish. If you like more going on in your mouth this would be for you, but it is not meant to be a robust, strong coffee so if that is what you are after go darker.
This is the best coffee!!! I wanted an app that would tell me when my local store was brewing it and since that wasn't happening the people at the store post the brew of the day on their Facebook. If it's Kenya I have no choice but to go in.
Its awesome, smooth and refeshing
the perfect coffee for me
Love this coffee! Nothing better than the smell of opening the bag for the first time!
Great coffee! A definite favorite!
This is a great intro for people that haven't tried Kenyan coffee previously. A smooth drink...very good.
I had this blend before and realy liked it.
For those not familiar with Kenyan coffee, this is a good introduction. A good cup throughout the temperatures.
For as light of a roast Kenya is, I've yet to find a coffee that is so full of flavors. I've heard rumors that Caribou's Kenya will NOT be available anymore and I'm disappointed to say the least. I only hope that whatever replaces it will be nearly as good.
I've tried dozens of coffee beans in the last year and none of them were as well rounded, smooth, distinct, and satisfying as your Kenya coffee.
OF all of Caribou's coffees this is my favorite! The only other one that comes close is La Minita. It is a mild roast, that is most like comfort food. I was disappointed when they took it off the shelves as a regular offering, and I am SO excited to see we'll still be able to get it!
not much flavor
Your best coffee. Well rounded flavor, smooth, no bitterness or burned bean taste.
