Amy's Story

Amy Erickson was much more to us than a roastmaster. She was loved by those around her because her enthusiasm was contagious. Amy believed excellence was worth pursuing and she never settled for average. She helped develop Caribou Coffee's cupping standards that are still being used today. It is those standards that ensure only the best coffee makes it into your cup.

In 1995, at just 33 years of age, Amy lost her battle with breast cancer. To keep her vision and spirit alive, we developed Amy's Blend.

This year, Caribou Coffee has created an entire collection around Amy's Blend called Amy's Collection, including new mugs, water bottles and gift items. Everything is fun and lively and of the highest quality - all intentionally chosen to reflect Amy's fun spirit and unflinching commitment to quality.

We have also added a new tea offering to Amy's Blend! The spiced tea is a vibrant mixture of caffeine-free red tea from South Africa blended with spicy cardamom and warm cinnamon to create a velvety smooth and soothing hot tea experience. Amy's Blend tea is all natural and high in antioxidants.

Amy's Blend coffee and tea flavors are true reflections of Amy's warm and engaging personality. The products bring together flavors from all over the world, including Columbia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, East Africa and South Africa, making Amy's Blend coffee and tea truly unique and special, just like Amy.

When you buy Amy's Blend coffee, tea, or merchandise, 10% of the sale price will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. You may also make a donation by visiting the Susan G. Komen website.
