Do I need to register my Amy's Blend Caribou Card online in order to have purchases between 5/5/08 and 10/31/08 qualify for the 1% donation to Susan G. Komen for The Cure?

No, but there are many benefits of registering a Caribou Card:

Card balance is protected in the event the card is lost
Ability to check and add to their card balance online
Option to sign up for auto-reload online
Access to special promotions

After October 31st, will my purchases made on the Amy's Blend Caribou Card still qualify for the 1% donation?

No. The 1% donation will be based on purchases made on the Amy's Blend Caribou Card between 5/5/08 - 10/31/08. You can continue to use the Amy's Blend card as a form of payment, but purchases made on the card after 10/31/08 are not eligible for the 1% donation.

When will the donation be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure?

The donation will be made in November in conjunction with Caribou Coffee's annual donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure up to $150,000.

How can I tell how much my purchases contributed to the donation?

Go online to Your Account after October 31, 2008 and click Check History to see all transactions to date on your Amy's Blend Caribou Card. You can then take your total purchases made between 5/5/08 and 10/31/08 and multiply it by 1%.

In addition, if you signed up for e-mail communications from Caribou Coffee, we'll send you an e-mail indicating the total donation (not the individual donation amount) we have made to the Susan G. Komen foundation with your help.

Do purchases made at www.cariboucoffee.com count toward my total purchases?

Yes. All purchases made with your Amy's Blend Caribou Card count toward your total purchases, which includes purchases at our retail stores and our online store (www.cariboucoffee.com).

When I load money onto my Amy's Blend Caribou Card does that count toward my spending total?

No. Loading or reloading an Amy's Blend Caribou Card does not count toward the cumulative donation total. When you use the money loaded on Amy's Blend Caribou Card to make a purchase between May 5th and October 31st, that purchase counts toward your spending total.

What if I only have enough money on my Amy's Blend Caribou Card to pay for part of my check?

The portion of your check using your Amy's Blend Caribou Card as the partial method of payment will count toward your spending total, while the portion of your check where you used another form of payment for the remainder due will not count toward your spending totals. To ensure you receive credit for the entire purchase, you will need to increment the Amy's Blend Caribou Card first, and then complete the transaction.

What is Caribou Coffee's total 2008 contribution to Susan G. Komen for the Cure?

Between the Caribou Card promotion and the fall Amy's Blend bean sales, Caribou Coffee will donate up to $150,000 to Komen. The company also will participate at many breast cancer awareness events throughout the year.
