Kenya
This east-African country produces some of the best coffee in the world. We make the trek to Kenya to purchase these special coffees each year and select from the best our exporter partners have to offer. Hundreds of small lots are cupped in order to create the special Kenyan coffees we offer.
Tasting Notes:
Though this is our lightest coffee on the roast degree spectrum, it is in no way light or delicate in terms of body or taste. This is an intense, full-flavored cup with a clean, powerful beginning. Kenya is full of sparkling brightness, and has a huge velvety body that serves as a backdrop for crisp, colorful blackberry notes. Expect burgundy heaviness and silky body underscored with a light currant spicy-tart quality and blackberry sweetness.
